This module will cover the evaluation and management of focal articular cartilage defects in the patellofemoral joint.

Learning objectives

  • Learn how to perform a comprehensive work-up including evaluation of cartilage defects in the context of important concomitant pathology
  • Understand principles of non-surgical management as well as indications and techniques for surgical intervention including cartilage restoration and realignment osteotomy
