Description

This module will cover evaluation and treatment decisions for patients with unusually complex causes of patellar instability and patients who have failed prior surgical intervention.

Learning objectives

  • Recognize signs and findings that identify patients who may require treatment other than medial stabilization
  • Develop a logical diagnosis and treatment approach to patients with failed patellofemoral instability surgery
  • Understand the surgical techniques sometimes necessary for treatment of such complex patients
